Idea [I] What’s your Windows Vista reliability index score?

    Hi,

We'd like you to help us with Issue 14 of the magazine, by telling us what your Windows Vista reliability score is.

To find your index score, search for Reliability in the start menu, and start up the monitor. In the left-hand pane select Monitoring Tools and Reliability Monitor. You can then see a synopsis of the last month, and select any day since Windows Vista was installed on your PC.

Please vote in this poll, and the results will be included in Issue 14, out 30 January.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Re: What’s your Windows Vista reliability index score?

I got 6.000. The thing is that a lot of the issues noted in the program are actually silly little things like 'installation cancelled'. I think this PC is as reliable as I need and it's thanks to Windows Vista. :)

The lowest reliability index I have had was back in June and it was 3.58 and that was mostly due to Internet Explorer crashing. As of 7 December my index was 10.0. I have had my Notebook since May 2007.  J.B.
